Overall a great show for the price (~$15). Just saw them at the Echoplex in LA for the finish of their west coast tour 2011 and the Velvet Jones show was far superior. The Echoplex has quite the sound system and the mixers leaned towards the bass which was a mistake. At Velvet Jones the balance was perfect for the small space. Crowd was small which was too bad for Sebadoh, but we felt pretty lucky to have such a good show in town. Velvet Jones felt like being in Sebadoh’s jam space whereas the Echoplex felt like being in LA production land.
